Booking & Cancelation Policy

You are very important to us here at Beauty at Serendipity, We hold your appointments just for you and ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, Please provide us with at least 24 hour's notice. 

 

This way our team will be able to adjust their schedules accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list.

 

We do understand that unavoidable issues come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency.

Last minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ will be charged a cancellation fee each time. 

Here is our general breakdown of cancellation fees:

•    All no-show clients and cancellations less than 24 hours of the appointment a cancellation fee of 100% of the total treatment cost will charged.
•    All no-show and late cancellation clients will be required to pay a deposit for all future appointments here at Beauty at Serendipity. A 'No-Show' fee of 100% of the total appointment cost will be charged.

As a courtesy we do contact you to confirm the date and time of  your appointment via text. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees.  You are always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.

  1. Booked services cannot be cancelled on arrival of appointment.

  2. WAXING - We advise at least 3 weeks hair growth. Please do not book in if you have shaved a few days or a week proior to your appointment. If your hair is not long enough or you have shaved a few days/week prior to your treatment you may be charged a late Cancellation fee upto 100%

  3. Any problems with your service must be reported within one day of the original service by email or in person. Beauty at Serendipity will then fix the service or replace the product at no charge, within 1 (one) week of the report of the fault

  4. ​Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time, especially if you are a new client to Beauty at Serendipity, as we require all new clients to complete an initial consultation. Therefore, this will not cut into your allocated treatment time.  ​

  5. To better serve you, please let your therapist know if you have any of the following: pregnancy, muscle or joint injuries, heart condition, high/low blood pressure, diabetes, fever, contagious skin condition, any other medical issue or an introduction to any new medications.Inform your therapist if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing or keratolytic medications, or have recently had laser or cosmetic surgery. Any of the above scenarios may affect our ability to treat you. Please advise Beauty at Serendipity, if at any time your medications alter in anyway, as this can inhibit our ability to perform certain treatments.​

  6.  Beauty at Serendipity accepts all major credit cards. We DO NOT take American Express.

  7.  All Prepaid courses are non refundable, except at the discretion of Beauty at Serendipity. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. Should you fail to turn up to your appointment or give 24 hours notice of any cancellation - one of your  prepaid services will be become void.
